Aarata delves into the repercussions of an irresponsible father’s actions, exploring themes of duty, faith, and divine intervention.

ದೇವರ ಉತ್ಸವ ಮುಗಿಸಿ ಸ್ನಾನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನದಿ ದಂಡೆಯ ಪಕ್ಕದ ಊರಿಗೆ ಬರುವುದು ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯ. ಬರುವ ದಾರಿಯ ಕಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ಪೂಜೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಜಳಕವಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಈ ಕಟ್ಟೆಯ ಯಜಮಾನಿಕೆ ಒಂದು ಮನೆತನದ ಒಡೆತನದಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಆಚರಣೆ ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿ, ಕಟ್ಟೆಯ ಮನೆತನದ ಯಜಮಾನ ತಂದೆಯ ಬೇಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯಿಂದ ಆ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗುವ ಅನಾಹುತಗಳೇನು? ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕವಾಗಿ ದೇವರನ್ನು ನಂಬಿದರೆ ಕಷ್ಟ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ರೀತಿ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ?
