FROM HILDE, WITH LOVE IN LIEBE, EURE HILDE ANDREAS DRESEN

Berlin, 1942: it was the most beautiful summer for Hilde – madly in love with Hans and joyfully pregnant. But amid the passion, there is grave danger. Hans becomes involved in the anti-Nazi resistance, with a group of young people who will later be called the “Red Orchestra”. Despite the huge risks, Hilde decides to get involved herself but is arrested by the Gestapo and faces the consequences of her actions.

ANDREAS DRESEN

Andreas Dresen, born August 16, 1963, in Gera, East Germany, is a renowned German filmmaker celebrated for his realistic and empathetic storytelling. A graduate of the Konrad Wolf Film Academy, his acclaimed films include NIGHT SHAPES (1999), GRILL POINT (2002), CLOUD 9 (2008), STOPPED ON TRACK (2011), and RABIYE KURNAZ VS. GEORGE W. BUSH (2022). He has won numerous awards, including the Silver Bear at Berlinale and the Un Certain Regard Award at Cannes.
