Once upon a time in a village, an old lady steals the rooster and the sun never rises again.

ನನ್ನ ಕೋಳಿ ಕೂಗದಿದ್ದರೆ ಬೆಳಗಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ಆಡುನುಡಿಯಂತೆ, ಈ ಕಿರುಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ವೃದ್ಧೆಯೊಬ್ಬಳು ಊರಿನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಬೆರಗುಗೊಳಿಸಲು ತನ್ನ ಹಳ್ಳಿಯಿಂದ ಕೋಳಿಯನ್ನು ಕದ್ದು ಸೂರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತೆಂದೂ ಉದಯಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಭ್ರಮಿಸಿ ಮಾಯವಾಗುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ನಂತರ ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ಕೋಳಿಯನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಲು ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ಮರಳಿ ತರಲು ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಈ ಚಿತ್ರ 2024ರ ಕಾನ್‌ ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಕಿರುಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಲಾ ಸಿನೆಫ್‌ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಗೆದ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿತು.
