In the bustling urban landscape, Neela and Shanmuka, a couple from rural origins, yearn for an idyllic life amidst the city's chaos. ಜನದಟ್ಟಣೆಯ ನಗರ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯ ದಂಪತಿಗಳಾದ ನೀಲಾ ಮತ್ತು ಷಣ್ಮುಖ ಶಾಂತಿಯುತ ಜೀವನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹಂಬಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರ ಕನಸುಗಳು ಹಣಕಾಸು ತೊಂದರೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಬಂದ್‌ ಆಗಿವೆ.ಹಿಂದಿನ ಅಬಾರ್ಷನ್‌ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳಿಂದಾಗಿ ಷಣ್ಮುಖನಿಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಆಸಕ್ತಿ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಹಳೆಯ ಘಟನೆಗಳಿಂದ ನೀಲಾಗೆ ಬೇಸರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈಗ ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಹೊಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ನೀಲಾ ಚಿಂತಾಕ್ರಾಂತಳಾಗಿದ್ದಾಳೆ. ಷಣ್ಮುಖನ ಸಿಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಹೆದರಿ, ತಾನು ಪುನಃ ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೀಲಾ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಹೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಹುಟ್ಟಲಿರುವ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಹೇಗಾದರೂ ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಛಲ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.

RAGU AARAV

Ragu Aarav, a Bengaluru-based filmmaker and graphic designer in the Kannada film industry, directed his first short film, "SHACKLES OF SKY," in 2024. Drawing inspiration from his poster design work and discussions with directors, Ragu is building his body of work with the dream of directing a feature film.
