NIRMALYAM THE BLESSED OFFERING M. T. VASUDEVAN NAIR

An adaptation of the short-story ‘Pallivalum Kalchilambum’, the film revolves around a temple and the people dependent on it. The temple is neglected to ruins and is tended only by the Velichappadu, while his educated but unemployed son Appu loses faith in the temple. When the priest goes on a leave, a young man takes up his job and forms a relationship with the Velichappadu’s daughter.
